New Hope Baptist Church

                                                   interested in the Lord's work. This site is designed with you in mind. To keep
                                                   people a breast of what is going on at New Hope Baptist Church.

                                                         I have been the Pastor at New Hope Baptist Church since 2001.
                                                    God blessed me with a great congregation of people who genuinely love God.
                                                    Our fellowship with one another at New Hope Baptist Church is extraordinarily
                                                    close and tight knit, with a real love for each other.

                                                          I was saved in September of 1993 at a little church in Davie County,
                                               North Carolina. As a child, I made a profession in Christ and was baptized, but there was no change in my life. When I entered high school, I lived wickedly and soon I was in trouble with the authorities. This lifestyle continued into college. I received a scholarship to play small college football and also an opportunity to play baseball. But after one year of failing grades and sinful living, I came home. To many this would seem tragic, BUT GOD! Thank God , he intervened in 1993 and saved my soul, and I am different now.

   After I surrendered to preach in 1998, I began bible college at Fundamental Baptist Bible College in Statesville, North Carolina. God has been gracious to me and my family. I have a wife(Kym) of almost 10 years and four children (Lyndsey, Brooks, Nathan, Faith) what a blessing!

   I Corinthians 1: 27-28 says, " But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not , to bring to naught things that are. "
   I am so thankful to be serving a God that is real! From the guttermost to the uttermost, from the jailhouse to the church house!
